Chris Bunch is the Chief Financial Officer of AAIS. He brings over 25 years of experience in public accounting and industry leadership, with a strong foundational knowledge of business finance gained through auditing, tax, and consulting work across multiple industries. Prior to joining AAIS, Chris served as Chief Operating Officer at Funston Company and previously held the role of Chief Financial and Operating Officer at Wilmington Health.

As a highly analytical, dependable, and accomplished operations and finance professional, Chris has a proven track record in the areas of operational excellence, long-term planning, and mergers and acquisitions. He is adept at managing technology, facility and operational tactics, and cross-functional teams to improve the customer experience and achieve complex business development objectives. His expertise in financial management and business transformation, combined with a focus on data-driven decision-making, enables him to develop systems and processes that drive strategic and sustainable growth in alignment with the organization’s mission and vision.

Chris has a BA in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an MA in Accounting from the University of North Carolina Wilmington.
