Manuela Ekowo is a Public Policy Associate at IBHS, where she helps shape and execute the organization’s public policy goals and advance IBHS solutions for making families, businesses, and communities more resilient to severe weather.

Manuela brings a decade of experience advancing policies at the federal, state, and local levels across a range of issues, including housing affordability and energy assistance. In her role at IBHS, she works closely with policymakers, stakeholders, and community leaders to translate research and insights into actionable policy solutions.

Manuela holds a BA in Government from Bowdoin College.
